READY TO CONQUER VLEO SPACE

Captis Space Systems aims to design a CubeSat system for Very Low Earth Orbit. This is a logical continuation of the previous development: from large satellites to small CubeSats – from Low Earth Orbit to Very Low Earth Orbit.

The tailored satellite buses are versatile, cost-efficient, and fast to deploy and enable the customer to carry his payload in VLEO.

In contrast to conventional satellites, however, some technical modifications have to be applied for this purpose:

  • Idea Nov 2021
    The initial idea was born: to design satellites for the VLEO.
  • New Member Otc 2022
    The founding team gets with Max a new member in the Captis crew.
  • Prototyping Jan 2023
    After Captis was able to acquire two grants in 2022, the construction of the prototype could start in January. The team has grown by 3 additional members.
